Are you a NEBOSH-qualified Health & Safety professional looking for your next challenge?
We're seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to join our manufacturing team, helping drive a positive safety culture, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement across the business.
The Role
Working closely with managers and employees across the site, you'll provide expert advice and support on all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting risk assessments, inspections and audits
- Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses
- Supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Delivering HSE training and awareness programmes
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation
- Managing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting employee wellbeing and promoting best practice throughout the business
About You - Essential skills
NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent)
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice
Ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels
Desirable
Experience with ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
Experience conducting audits and incident investigations
✔ Environmental management experience
What We Offer
Competitive salary up to £40,000 plus a company profit share, can pay from 3% to 6% of basic salary (depending on company profits) paid April
