The Role
We are currently recruiting for a qualified Electrician – EICR to join a well-established in-house Repairs & Maintenance team within a leading social housing provider permanently, offering a salary of £41,669.00 + van and fuel card.
This role will primarily focus on carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across housing stock, along with completing any remedial works identified. You will play a key role in ensuring properties remain safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out EICRs in line with BS 7671 regulations
- Accurately identify, code, and report electrical defects
- Complete remedial works within required timeframes
- Undertake inspection, testing, and fault finding using calibrated equipment
- Ensure all certification and reports are completed accurately via handheld devices
- Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and customer service
- Support additional works where required, including:
- Responsive repairs
- Void property works
- General electrical maintenance
About You
We are looking for a qualified electrician with strong experience in inspection, testing, and compliance work.
Essential Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Completed electrical apprenticeship
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing)
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- Strong experience in EICRs, fault finding, and remedial works
- Full UK driving licence
