PJK Contracts is seeking a skilled carpenter and multi-trade (see below) to join our team.
We would be interested in applicants who are looking at joining on a subcontractor basis.
CARPENTRY SKILLS REQUIRED
Flooring...
- Experienced laying various flooring types including laminate, engineered timber, real wood, LVT etc.
Woodwork...
- To include replacing skirtings and architrave, renewing internal doors, repairing/fitting stud walls, floor-boarding (marine ply/chipboard/tongue and groove), repairing joists etc.
Kitchens & Bathrooms...
- Projects could be anything from replacing singular damaged units to full kitchen/bathroom rip out and replacement. Basic plumbing skills would therefore be an essential requirement for removing and refitting kitchen sinks, baths, WCs, radiators etc.

In addition to carpentry, one or more of the following desired additional skills would be advantageous:
- Plastering (e.g. ability to board/skim ceilings and walls, fitting coving etc)
- Tiling (e.g. full walls and floors, fitting backer boards where needed etc)
- Painting & decorating (e.g. painting, wallpapering, woodwork, basic skimming for making good to walls would be advantageous)
