Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery to tables
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities and enhance guest satisfaction
- Provide detailed information about menu options, including ingredients and dietary considerations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly and courteously
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food preparation or culinary techniques is a plus but not mandatory
- Effective time management to ensure timely service delivery
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales potential
