Premier Finance and Mortgages Limited is seeking an experienced mortgage broker to join our Cockfosters office on a self-employed basis. The firm is directly authorised by the FCA, and you will work as an approved person, arranging mortgages for clients with varied loan types using our lender panel and internal support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and source suitable mortgage products from lenders
- Manage applications from initial enquiry through to completion
- Maintain accurate records and comply with FCA regulations, internal procedures and policies
- Build and maintain client relationships
Essential Requirements
- CeMAP qualification Level 3 or higher – must be current
- Active FCA registration or eligibility to register as an approved person
- Minimum 1 year experience as a mortgage broker
- Proven track record of closing deals (volume and value)
- Own existing client database
- Strong knowledge of UK mortgage market and lending criteria
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with office team
Desirable
- Experience with high-value or specialist mortgages
