Duties
- Provide one-on-one mentorship to youth, offering guidance, encouragement, and support tailored to their individual needs
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote personal growth, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and community organisations to support youth development programs
- Assist in creating safe spaces where young people feel valued, respected, and heard
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to help youth set and achieve achievable goals
- Facilitate workshops or group sessions focused on life skills, education planning, or social-emotional learning
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, activities, and progress reports for program evaluation
Skills
- Strong background in teaching or mentoring with a genuine passion for youth development
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or community settings
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with diverse youth populations
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and build trusting relationships with young people
- Knowledge of special education needs or youth work best practices is a plus
- Patience, empathy, and active listening skills to understand individual challenges and strengths
- Ability to organize engaging activities that foster growth and confidence

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
