Job Title: HGV Class 2 Fuel Tanker Driver
Location: Ballymena
Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent upon successful completion of 6-month probation)
Hours: 45+ hours per week
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team based in Ballymena. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of fuel to a range of customers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 fuel tanker in line with all legal and company requirements
- Deliver fuel to commercial and domestic customers in a timely manner
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation
- Adhere to ADR regulations and health & safety procedures at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional company image
- Follow route schedules while adapting to operational needs when required
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence – essential
- Valid CPC qualification
- ADR Class 3 certification – desirable
- Good understanding of driving laws and regulations
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
