A Project Engineer / Draughtsperson with knowledge of AutoCAD software and project engineering within the construction industry is required for a specialist ventilation contractor.
Key duties include close liaison with clients to develop high quality working drawings, wiring schematics and manuals, take off from drawings and procurement of materials and services, co-ordinate installation on site to meet clients' programme. The ideal candidate will be expected to work to tight deadlines, liaise with engineers on a regular basis, report to the contracts manager, provide a prompt response to enquiries, have a confident telephone manner, undertake detailed site surveys and have a good level of IT knowledge.
Travelling to site and overnight stays will be required as requested. The candidate must be a good communicator, work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines. You will also need a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, good analytical skills – CAD experience is beneficial to this role. Relevant in-house training will be provided.
This role will learn, develop and progress to be a full time Draughtsperson / engineer. You learn the role from bottom up being mentored by our experienced team of CAD technicians and Project Managers with many years' experience in the industry.
