Situated in the Cotswolds, Tomlinson Equine is a leader in the field of Equine breeding. Established in 2002, this highly successful equine vets and reproduction centre is run by equine vet, Emma Tomlinson. We are looking for someone to take ownership and be fully responsible for the business finances and human resources to provide accurate and detailed information to support the Managing Director and senior management in running the business. This is a hands on role that will suit someone who is a doer who likes to get involved in the detail as well as looking at things strategically.
Job description
Responsible for:
HR including recruitment/ supporting staff development and management
Sales and Purchase ledgers
Payments
Bank reconciliations
VAT reporting
Payroll
Nominal ledger
Cashflow projections and management
Management accounts
Year end
Liaising with external accountants
Requirements
Experience of HR procedures and recruitment
Experienced user of Sage and Excel
At least 5 years experience in a similar role
Good communication skills
Able to multi task, prioritise and occasionally work under pressure
A recognised accountancy qualification
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
