We currently have an opportunity for a qualified CAD Technician to join us as a Junior CAD Engineer. This role offers excellent career development for the right candidate and would suit someone motivated to learn, grow and get involved from day one.
Position Summary
· Liaise with engineers and site to produce accurate CAD drawings using a variety of programmes;
· Must be fully competent in AutoCAD, have ability to draw in 2D and 3D.
· Submit drawings for approval and maintain drawing issue records.
· Attend meetings and work as a team to ensure precision.
· Ability to identify technical issues and problem solving.
· Product design and development
· Project management
· Make an active contribution to design process and order components as necessary.
About you
· Must have a relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification (BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng)
· Be organised and ability to work with minimal supervision
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge of ventilation systems ideally (but not required)
· Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Can follow instruction and adapt to changes
· Shows initiative and can work independently
· Ability to think outside the box and contribute to design
· Minimum 6 months experience in AutoCAD
