Cask Handler/Warehouse Operative
The Auchtermuchty Bond/Scotch Whisky International Warehousing Limited are currently recruiting for Cask Handlers/Warehouse Operatives to join our Maturation warehouses on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, friendly team. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be working within our Warehousing facilities, which is a key part of our Company’s mission to supply high quality warehouse services and bottling of spirits to a global network of customers
The main duties of the role are as follows:
- Stowing and de-stowing of casks from modern racking and traditional dunnage warehouses
- Re-gauging and re-racking of casks.
- Disgorging of casks for bottlings
- Carrying out reductions for bottlings & blending activities
- Supporting stock checks and efficient use of our inventory control system
- Carrying out warehouse walkarounds to identify any potential issues with casks
- Completing and recording quality checks
- Ensuring hygiene of equipment to a high standard
- Following all SOP’s and instructions diligently
- Adhering to Health and Safety policies and Risk Assessments
- Driving performance through continuous improvement
- Supporting team objectives

- Experience of Forklift Counter balance although training can be provided to the right candidate
