We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join our established Equipment Engineering team.
The role
Working as a member of the Equipment Engineering team, you will work with our engineers to develop your skills and experience, carrying out maintenance, improvements and repairs on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, whilst maintaining the highest standards of Health & Safety.
Please note that initially the hours of work will be Monday to Friday day shift, however as your knowledge and experience grows, you will move to a rotating back shift/night shift pattern.
The person

You will be enthusiastic and reliable with the ability to make decisions and learn new tasks quickly. You will be willing to take on additional responsibilities and have a desire to get the job done within tight deadlines.
Experience and Skills
Successful candidates will have:
· HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
· Previous experience working within an engineering environment would be desirable.
· Excellent analytical/problem solving skills
· Excellent IT skills
· The ability to communicate at all levels.
