Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated external wall installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and external wall insulation systems to various domestic projects, ensuring all work is carried out to the design specifications provided including manufacturer's instructions, PAS standards and best practice guidance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction-related trades to develop their expertise within a dynamic environment. Applicants should be organised, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic to succeed in this physically demanding position.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials including EPS boards and mineral wool according to project specifications.
- Install insulation to walls, taking care to prevent thermal bridges and optimise thermal efficiency.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, to ensure precise application of insulation systems.
- Assist with related tasks including roofing, rendering, masonry, or joinery work as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, electrical, roofing and joinery teams to complete projects efficiently.
- Take care in and around customers properties leaving sites tidy and engaging with customers.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or insulation installation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Johnstone's / PPG system is preferable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools used in construction environments.
- NVQ in external wall insulation is preferred.
- Experience working with construction materials such as silicone render and other basic building components is desirable.

Pay: £32,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
