We are a busy and growing vehicle accident repair centre looking for an experienced Panel Beater to join our team . You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to a high standard , ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications and insurance requirements .
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess vehicle damage and carry out repairs efficiently
- Remove , repair, and replace damaged panels
- Carry out structural and cosmetic repairs
- Use appropriate tools and equipment ( welding , pulling systems, fillers )
- Prepare vehicles for paint ( filling , sanding, priming )
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality , and manufacturer standards
- Work closely with estimators, painters, and workshop team
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements :
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair ( or equivalent )
- Proven experience working in a bodyshop or accident repair centre
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
Desirable ( but not essential )
- ATA Accreditation
- Welding certification
- Experience working on insurance repairs
