The Faculty of Arts & Continuing Education within Glasgow Clyde College is currently seeking experienced and dynamic media professionals to join our team and deliver teaching within our Media & Communications provision.
We are looking for candidates with current industry knowledge and practical experience across a range of contemporary media production and communication skills. Applicants should ideally have experience in podcasting and audio production, social media content creation, online video and digital editing, branding and visual identity, and the development of engaging content for digital platforms.
We are looking for candidates who can teach some or all of the following:
- Media and Communication
- Public Relations
- Event Organisation
- Journalism Skills
- Feature Writing
- Media Theory
Teaching may range from SCQF Level 5 to Level 8, so experience of working with learners at different levels is desirable.
Experience of relevant software and platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, podcasting and audio-editing software, content management systems and social media platforms would be highly desirable. An understanding of current media trends, digital audiences, content strategy and the changing media landscape in Scotland would also be advantageous.
You will contribute to excellence in learning through the preparation and delivery of high-quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, while supporting learners to develop the practical, creative, communication and professional skills required for progression into employment or further study within the media industries.

Salary: £41,833 - £50,359 per annum (pro rata)
