We are an exciting and growing food business based in Bracknell.
We’re looking for a talented, motivated and reliable chef to join our kitchen and become an important part of the next stage of our growth.
This isn’t simply a role where you’ll be expected to turn up, cook the same menu and go home. We’re looking for someone who wants to get involved, contribute ideas and grow with the business.
The Person We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Honest, straightforward and reliable.
- Positive and naturally has a can-do attitude.
- Confident working in a busy kitchen environment.
- A good team player with the personality to fit into a fun, developing business.
- Passionate about food and interested in creating great dishes.
- Comfortable taking responsibility within the kitchen.
- Interested in helping develop new menus and specials.
- Able to support and lead kitchen assistants where required.
- Organised and willing to assist with staff rotas and stock ordering.
- Excited by events and the social side of the business.
- Ideally based locally or within a reasonable travelling distance of Bracknell.
- Qualified to Level 3.
What You’ll Be Involved In
As the business continues to grow, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to become involved in much more than day-to-day food preparation.
Responsibilities and opportunities will include:
- Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard.
- Helping develop new menu items and specials.
- Supporting the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen.
- Working alongside and helping develop kitchen assistants.
- Assisting with stock control and ordering.
- Helping with kitchen rotas and organisation.
- Supporting events.
- Contributing to the positive atmosphere and personality of the business.
