Hours: Monday to Friday 07.00-15.30pm or Monday to Thursday 13.00pm -23.00pm on the afternoons you will have a 10% shift allowance

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials within the warehouse environment. The successful candidate will operate forklift trucks safely and effectively, assist with warehouse operations, and contribute to maintaining a smooth supply chain process. Duties
- Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the facility
- Assist with the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials and products
- Prepare items for shipping by organizing and staging loads according to company procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform minor repairs or report maintenance needs promptly
- Support stock replenishment activities and ensure materials are stored securely and systematically
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets efficiently
- Handle heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Experience in materials handling, shipping, and receiving processes
- Strong understanding of health and safety standards related to warehouse operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
