Join our dynamic Hair and Beauty team as a Sessional Lecturer in Hairdressing and Barbering. This role is ideal for an experienced industry professional who is passionate about passing on their knowledge and skills while maintaining flexibility around other commitments. You will play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that prepare students for successful careers in the industry.
This exciting role will include:
- Delivering practical and theory-based Hairdressing and Barbering lessons to students.
- Supporting, monitoring and assessing student progress and achievement.
- Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to succeed.
- Sharing current industry knowledge and best practice to enhance the student experience.
If you can demonstrate the following, then we'd love to hear from you:
- A Hairdressing and/or Barbering qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Recent industry experience and excellent knowledge of current Hairdressing and Barbering practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
- A teaching qualification and/or Assessor Award would be desirable, although training may be available for the right candidate.
- Self-motivated, organised and committed to continuous professional development.
- This is an excellent opportunity to combine your industry experience with teaching, helping learners develop the skills, confidence and knowledge they need for a successful future in Hairdressing and Barbering.

Annual salary: Circa £32 - £42 per hour inc Holiday.

Hours: Sessional – current need will be; Tuesday – 9 – 10.30 & Wednesday – 10.45-12.15/2.30-5.30
