Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Nursery Practitioners (Bank Staff) to join our friendly and professional early years team.
You will support the day-to-day running of the nursery, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where children feel happy, secure, and confident to learn.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Build strong, professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health & safety, and confidentiality
- Support daily routines including play, meals, toileting, nappy changing, and sleep routines
- Work flexibly across rooms and age groups as required
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Person Specification - Essential
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to undertake all required suitability checks
Desirable
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in an early years or childcare setting
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to complete training)
