Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Manage daily food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for breakfast menus
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the breakfast station before and after service periods
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining excellent service standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
- Serve guests promptly and courteously, providing a welcoming experience from the moment they arrive
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food hygiene standards
- Demonstrated culinary experience with the ability to prepare breakfast dishes efficiently under pressure
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, food presentation, and serving guests
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to foster a positive work environment
- Prior experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is highly desirable
