Senior Hair Stylist – Sharnee’s Hair & Beauty

Sharnee’s Hair & Beauty is looking for a talented, confident and experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our friendly and professional salon team.
We are searching for someone who is passionate about hairdressing, delivers excellent client care and can confidently manage their own column. The ideal candidate will be reliable, motivated and comfortable working as part of a busy salon team.
Main responsibilities:
● Providing professional consultations and personalised hair advice
● Cutting and styling women’s and men’s hair
● Blow-dries, curly blow-dries and hair-up services
● Confidently carrying out colouring services, including highlights, balayage, toning and colour corrections
● Maintaining excellent standards of customer service
● Managing your own column and working efficiently during busy periods
● Recommending suitable salon services, treatments and aftercare products
● Maintaining a clean, hygienic and professional working area
● Supporting junior team members when required
● Helping to promote the salon and your work through social media
● Building strong, long-term relationships with clients
● Following all salon policies, health and safety procedures and professional standards
The ideal candidate will:
● Be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Hairdressing, or hold an equivalent qualification
● Have at least three years of salon experience
● Be confident in cutting, colouring and styling
● Have excellent communication and customer-service skills
● Be professional, friendly and well-presented
● Be reliable, punctual and organised
● Work well independently and as part of a team
● Be passionate about keeping up with current hair trends and techniques
● Be willing to promote their work and contribute positively to the salon
An existing client base would be an advantage but is not essential.
