Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor corrugator machinery safely and efficiently.
- Set up equipment and make adjustments to maintain product quality and machine performance.
- Monitor production output, quality specifications, and waste levels.
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance activities.
- Identify and report equipment faults or process issues.
- Work closely with colleagues across production, engineering, and quality teams.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles.
- Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving productivity, quality, and safety.
- Follow all site health, safety, environmental, and food packaging standards where applicable.
About You
We are looking for individuals who:
- Have previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment.
- Experience operating corrugators, converting machinery, or other automated production equipment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Possess good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Can work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Are flexible and willing to work shifts.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Show a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop.
Desirable Experience
- Previous corrugated packaging industry experience.
- Forklift Truck Licence (or willingness to be trained).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with machine set-up and changeovers.
