We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager specialising in fit-out projects.
The successful candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of interior fit-out works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to programme schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise on-site activities, including managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6 or similar programme management tools.
- Monitor progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Manage project budgets, procurement processes, and resource allocation efficiently.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Supervise site staff and provide leadership to ensure high levels of productivity and morale.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Proven experience in managing fit-out projects within commercial or residential sectors.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Supervising experience with a focus on safety, quality control, and team coordination.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues on-site promptly.
