In Charge Construction Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Approved Commercial Electrician to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of commercial construction, fit-out, refurbishment and maintenance projects, carrying out electrical installations, testing, fault finding and repairs to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
- Install, test and commission electrical systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Complete electrical testing and inspection where qualified.
- Work closely with project managers, clients and other trades.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety.
Requirements
- Approved Electrician qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician).
- Experience working within commercial construction and fit-out projects.
- Strong fault-finding skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
- IPAF.
- PASMA.
