DB Orthodontics is looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing Assistant to join our Procurement team in Silsden. You’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain running smoothly; managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and keeping our ERP system accurate and up to date.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and monitoring purchase orders from creation through to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment
- Communicating with suppliers on order status, lead times, and delivery issues, escalating where necessary
- Maintaining accurate records within the ERP system, including supplier data, pricing, and product information
- Processing purchasing documentation and purchase requisitions
- Proactively chasing outstanding orders to prevent supply disruptions
- Assisting with supplier onboarding, including setting up new accounts and maintaining vendor files
- Liaising with internal teams including Warehouse, Finance, and Operations to resolve queries and coordinate stock requirements
- Producing regular reports on purchasing activity, spend, and order status
- Providing general administrative support across the wider procurement function
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration role
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy across records and documentation
- Good working knowledge of Excel and general administrative systems
- Experience using an ERP system (desirable)
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal teams
- Organised and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset
