Handyperson - Nursing Home
Contract Type: Permanent- Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hrs per week
Location: Bath
Salary: From £12.75 - £13.50 (depending on Qualifications & Experience)

Job Description:
Outdoor Work:
Carries out seasonal work under the direction of the Facilities Manager and to the highest quality. Tasks include but are not limited to;
- Weeding of non-garden areas i.e. carparks & bin areas
- Fence, walls and outdoor furniture repairs
- Collecting and disposing of green waste
- Clearing of pathways and external staircases
- Undertake activities to maintain safe and clean external environment, gritting, sweeping, pressure washing and pest control
- Clearing of drains and guttering
- Upkeep of bird feeders ensuring minimisation of pests
Indoor Work:
Carries out ad-hoc or reactive work under the direction of the Facilities Manager and to the highest quality. Tasks include but are not limited to;
- Assisting with minor repairs of appropriate furniture and equipment as instructed
- Assisting with furniture removal and disposal where instructed
- Facilitates the movement of large goods between care homes
- Assisting with assembly and installation of goods where appropriate
- Collects procured items from suppliers and delivers these to the homes where needed
- Collects and distributes goods and equipment from Cedar Care storage areas as instructed
