Team Leader – Supported Living Cluster (Denton, Stockport & Oldham)
IBC Healthcare | Full-time, 40 hours per week | £14.95 per hour
Make a Real Difference, Every Day
Are you an experienced Team Leader ready to step up and lead your own cluster of services? IBC Healthcare is expanding across Greater Manchester, and we're looking for a hands-on, people-first Field Care Supervisor to oversee a group of bespoke, single-occupancy supported living services across Denton, Stockport and Oldham, supporting adults with complex needs, including mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism.
This is more than a supervisory role. You'll be visible, present, and actively involved in shaping outstanding, person-centred support, building meaningful routines, therapeutic input and real community connection for the people you support, while developing a strong, motivated staff team around you.
Why Join Us?
At IBC Healthcare, we don't just deliver care, we build careers. We're a specialist provider supporting adults with complex needs across supported living, residential and day services, and this Greater Manchester region is one of our fastest-growing areas. Join us now and you'll be part of that growth from the ground up, with genuine pathways into more senior operational roles.
The Role
As Field Care Supervisor, you'll take ownership of a cluster of single-occupancy supported living services, each tailored to the individual living there. You'll split your time between hands-on shift support, staff supervision, and driving the quality of care across your cluster, travelling regularly between Denton, Stockport and Oldham.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on support across your cluster of services, stepping into shifts where needed and leading by example on the floor.
- Oversee delivery of person-centred care plans, ensuring every individual has access to meaningful daily activities, therapeutic support and opportunities for genuine community integration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the people you support, their families, and external professionals (social workers, clinicians, therapists).
- Supervise, coach and develop a team of support workers across multiple sites, including rota management, spot-checks and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure all services consistently meet CQC standards and IBC's internal quality benchmarks.
- Act as a visible, approachable leader, available to staff and service users, and confident making decisions independently in the field.
- Support onboarding, induction and ongoing development of new team members joining your cluster.
What We're Looking For
- Proven Team Leader or Senior Support Worker experience in adult social care, ideally with individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities or autism.
- A genuinely hands-on leader comfortable both supervising and actively supporting on shift.
- A strong understanding of person-centred planning, therapeutic approaches and community-based activities.
- Confident, organised, and able to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential — regular travel between Denton, Stockport and Oldham).
- A genuine passion for improving quality of life and building trust with the people you support.
- Committed to your own development, with ambition to grow into more senior roles.
The Perks & Benefits
- Competitive salary with regular pay increases
- Clear career progression pathways into senior leadership
- Fully paid training, induction and shadowing
- Funded diplomas (Levels 2, 3, 4 & 5)
- Reward and recognition schemes
- Blue Light Card discounts
- Free online learning via Udemy
- Cycle to Work Scheme
- Enhanced maternity & paternity leave
- 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
- Casual dress and 28 days paid holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
