Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to join our dynamic research team. Duties
- Assist in the coordination and execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements
- Monitor patient progress and record clinical data accurately using recognised statistical software and data management systems
- Support patient recruitment, screening, and informed consent processes in compliance with ethical guidelines
- Conduct patient monitoring activities, including vital signs measurement and phlebotomy procedures where applicable
- Ensure all study documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with FDA regulations and compliance standards
- Assist with training new staff or interns on study procedures and compliance management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operation of research activities and timely data collection
- Participate in audits and inspections by regulatory bodies, ensuring all documentation meets required standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical research practices, and FDA regulations
- Demonstrated analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software and data management tools
- Experience in patient monitoring, nursing duties, or phlebotomy is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with compliance management within healthcare or research environments
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are desirable but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and documentation
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications in nursing or healthcare-related fields are preferred but not mandatory
