Job Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our established division within the Automotive sector. Operating across the UK, we provide high-quality Inspection and Engineering services, and we are currently expanding our team to support operations in the Redditch area (B98).
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all products meet rigorous quality and safety standards through precise inspection and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about quality assurance, accuracy, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of products at various production stages to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilise measurement tools and analytical skills to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Accurately document inspection results and promptly report non-conformities to relevant departments for corrective action.
- Assist in the development and review of quality assurance procedures to enhance inspection processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions, ensuring full traceability and accountability.
What We're Looking For:
- Industry Experience (Preferred): Background in automotive manufacturing and familiarity with quality processes.
- Education (Preferred): A degree or equivalent qualification in an automotive-related subject.
- Driving: A full UK driving licence is required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data recording, analysis, and reporting.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both Mandarin and English – essential for effective communication across diverse teams and customer bases.
Additional tasks may be assigned as required by the customer, so flexibility and a proactive attitude are key.
