- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication use, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
- Uphold infection control policies and ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in medication administration, including understanding of dosage calculations and potential side effects.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
