South Machars Community Centre are looking for a capable, reliable and conscientious Facilities Supervisor to ensure our busy community centre is kept clean, safe, welcoming and well maintained. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of cleanliness, oversee the day-to-day health and safety of the building, ensure compliance with relevant council and regulatory requirements and be responsible for opening and securing the premises.
This is a hands-on role requiring excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our community. Candidates must be flexible in terms of hours/days worked as out of hours and weekends are required.
Salary: Living Wage £13.45 per hour.
Hours: 15 hours per week.
What we need from you:
· High standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
· Good understanding of risk management, health and safety procedures including manual handling, trip hazards, COSHH.
· Ability to maintain accurate and regular record keeping using electronic and manual formats.
· Good understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
· Ability to physically move and lift furniture where required.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
