Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast / Cafe Chef to join our vibrant culinary team for 2- 4 days a week. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast and cafe-style dishes that delight our guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety will ensure every plate served is of the highest quality. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items such as full English, sandwiches, and other cafe specialties with precision and creativity
- Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in meal preparation for special dietary needs or menu variations as required
- Serve food efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service to guests
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
- Support team members during busy periods by collaborating effectively and maintaining a positive attitude
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or cafe setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards
- Previous experience with meal preparation for breakfast or brunch menus is highly desirable
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary tools
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience serving guests directly in a hospitality setting is a plus
