Logistics & Operations Coordinator
Not Your Every Day · Harlow, Essex · £28,000–£32,000 · Full-time, in person
Why this role is worth your time
We supply premium furniture to some of the biggest brands in the world at some of the largest events. Think high-end conferences, brand activations, exhibitions, airshows, product launches, film sets — our furniture is in the room when it matters.
We're growing fast, and we need someone organised and hands-on to help manage our day-to-day logistics. You'll get:
- Real variety — one day you're planning delivery routes, the next you're on-site at a major event
- Direct mentorship from our Logistics Manager and Operations Director — you'll learn logistics planning and live event operations from people who do it daily
- A genuine growth path — this role is designed to develop into more responsibility as the business grows
- Travel opportunities — support events beyond the office, not just admin at a desk
If you're early in your logistics/operations/events career and want hands-on experience with a premium brand, this is a strong first or second step. Or if you don’t have any experience in logistics but have the skill set, we want to hear from you.
What you'll actually be doing
- Help plan and coordinate daily delivery and collection schedules
- Write daily briefs for technicians
- Help plan delivery routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to confirm delivery details
- Support (and occasionally lead) on-site operations at larger events
- Handle day-to-day operational admin — emails, calls, coordination
- Get stuck into other areas of the business as we grow
You'll report to the Operations Director and work closely day-to-day with our Logistics Manager, who'll support you as you learn the ropes.
Because events don't run 9-to-5, occasional flexibility outside standard hours is needed to support live jobs — we'll always give you notice where we can.
Our hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm.
What we need from you
Must-have:
- Highly organised, with genuine attention to detail
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and teams
- Happy to be hands-on and on-site when needed
- Some office experience
Preferred but not essential:
- Some experience in logistics, operations, events, or furniture/hospitality
Experience is a bonus, not a requirement — we're just as interested in your attitude and organisational skills as your CV history.
What you get
- £28,000–£30,000, depending on experience
- Additional leave
- Company events
- Company pension
- On-site parking
- Training and mentorship
