Job Title: Business Support Administrator
Salary Band: £17,027.02 per annum (FTE £28,000 p/a)
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract – 30th April 2027 (Maternity Cover)
Working Pattern: 22.5 Hours p/w (Tuesday - Thursday)
Reporting To: Managing Director
What we’re looking for from you…
We are seeking a proactive Business Support Administrator to provide high-level administrative and account management support across our Destination Coventry team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with strong communication and customer service skills, bringing a commercial mindset and a keen eye for detail.
This role plays a key part in managing our partner accounts, supporting retention and recruitment efforts, and maintaining accurate systems and processes. The Business Support Administrator will ensure efficient internal operations while delivering excellent service to Destination Coventry’s partner network.
The successful candidate will be confident working across CRM systems, coordinating web and admin tasks, and supporting wider marketing and event activity. A natural problem solver and team player, they will contribute to the smooth delivery of business operations and partner engagement across the business.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative support across the Destination Coventry team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of business operations.
- Manage Destination Coventry events from invitation through to delivery, including attendee management, logistics coordination, progress reporting and post-event administration.
- Act as a key point of contact for partner communications, supporting retention through regular phone, email and in-person engagement.
- Maintain and develop accurate CRM records and databases, producing reports and insights to support sales, partner engagement and business performance.
- Support sales processes including DocuSign administration, customer onboarding and retention activities.
- Provide account management support including renewals, account reviews and customer service activities.
- Carry out website updates and website performance reporting.
- Support seasonal campaigns, marketing initiatives and promotional activity.
- Manage invoice reporting, payment chasing and credit control support.
- Manage shared inboxes and email communications.
- Coordinate supplier relationships and stakeholder support activities.
- Represent Destination Coventry at external events, contribute to sales meetings/account review meetings, and provide customer feedback to improve services.
- Ensure all business support tasks are completed efficiently, professionally, and in line with organisational priorities.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a business administration, account management or customer service role.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders via phone, email and in person.
- Experience using CRM systems and digital tools (experience with DocuSign is desirable).
- Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of retention and client support strategies.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards teamwork and supporting wider organisational goals.
- Full Drivers Licence
- Ability to travel to represent Coventry at key trade shows and business events.
