The School delivers a diverse portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, degree apprenticeships, and transnational education partnerships. Experience of working with diverse student cohorts and international partners would be advantageous. The role may involve international travel.
You should hold a good honours degree, a postgraduate qualification, and a PhD in Economics or a closely related discipline. Professional membership of a relevant body is desirable. You should have experience of teaching Economics and Business in higher education and be able to demonstrate excellence and commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning. You will be expected to teach across a range of Economics and Business modules and contribute to the delivery of an outstanding student experience through engaging, inclusive, and innovative teaching practices.
You will be expected to support student achievement and employability, engage in scholarly and professional development activities that enhance teaching practice, and contribute to the wider academic life of the Department and School. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, student achievement, and graduate employability.
