Activities Co-ordinator – Make Every Day a Little Brighter!
Location: Cathedral View House, Truro, Cornwall
Hours: Minimum 32 hours, 4 days per week (including alternate weekends) | 08:00 – 16:00

We’re a friendly and lively residential home in the heart of Truro, where every day is an opportunity to bring joy to the lives of our amazing residents. From baking and crafts to day trips, music sessions, pet therapy and more, our residents love to get involved – and we’re looking for the right person to bring it all together.
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and leading a variety of engaging, stimulating, and life-enhancing activities
- Creating a weekly rota that brings fun, purpose, and connection into residents’ lives
- Working with external entertainers (musicians, personal trainers, therapy animals – we’ve got it all!)
- Encouraging participation and adapting activities to individual interests and abilities
- Bringing patience, positivity, and a ‘can-do’ attitude to every corner of the home
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a similar role (especially with older people)
- A natural people-person with creativity, warmth, and great organisational skills
- Someone who loves a good laugh, enjoys a sing-along, and knows the power of a cup of tea and a chat
- Passionate about making a difference and helping residents live their very best lives
