Here at Piglets, we are looking for a 1-1 SEN Practitioner to work alongside our pre-school room team. Particularly, to enhance our ratios in order to support a lovely little girl within the room.
Piglets is a family run business which caters for children aged 3 months - 5 years. We are open 51 weeks of the year from 7:30-6:00.
We are looking for a candidate to work 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) 25 hours on average, with the potential of flexibility.
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and energetic candidate to join our team in providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children in our care. As well as preferably having experience with SEND.
You will be responsible as a key person for a child, planning age and stage appropriate activities based on their interests to support their learning and development as well as meeting all of their individual needs.
You will work alongside the team to plan and adapt activities if required and support the child throughout the day with learning and care needs. You will be responsible for communicating with the team as well as the parents.
We are looking for candidates to have had experience with SEND and to be approachable, fun and have a passion for working with children.
We provide continuous training courses as well as opportunities to further your education and career.
We are very lucky with our surroundings and have a very large grassed outdoor area as well as a garden for every base room. We are also fortunate to have the River Hamble Country Park on our doorstep and take the children on regular woodland outings.
