Business Development Manager

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum + Performance Bonus

We are a growing and ambitious law firm based in Manchester, providing expert legal services to individuals and businesses across the UK. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth, strengthen referral partnerships, and identify new business opportunities.
The Role
This is a commercially focused position for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating opportunities, and helping professional service businesses grow.
You will work closely with the firm's directors and legal teams to develop and implement business development strategies that increase revenue and raise the firm's profile across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities for the firm. Build and maintain relationships with introducers, accountants, financial advisers, estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professional contacts. Attend networking events, business exhibitions and industry conferences. Develop strategic partnerships and referral arrangements. Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and referral sources. Work with the marketing team to support campaigns, events and lead generation activities. Track business development activity through CRM systems and provide regular performance reports. Collaborate with fee earners to identify cross-selling opportunities across the firm's services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales or relationship management. Experience within legal services, professional services, financial services, accountancy or consultancy is highly desirable. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Commercially minded with a track record of generating revenue. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Self-motivated, proactive and target driven. Full UK driving licence preferred.
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
