Role Overview
We are looking for a London-based graduate to support the CEO with the day-to-day running of the office: diary and correspondence management, meeting logistics, and administrative coordination across the business. Over time, and as trust and familiarity with the business grow, the role may expand to include exposure to investor materials and higher-level strategic work.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar & Schedule Management: Proactively manage and coordinate the CEO's diary, prioritising appointments, resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring seamless day-to-day agendas.
- Inbox Triage & Correspondence: Monitor and screen incoming emails, draft routine business correspondence for review, handle external inquiries, and follow up on pending matters.
- Travel & Logistics: Plan and organise domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, visa processes, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Meeting Support: Prepare briefing packs and background research for internal and external meetings, and take clear, action-oriented minutes. Involvement in board-level meetings will be introduced gradually and always under senior guidance, given the confidentiality of that material.
- FinTech Market Research & Reporting: Assist with ad-hoc research on FinTech trends, competitors, the payments landscape, and regulatory updates; help prepare presentation decks and basic reports.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (Product, Compliance, Sales, Finance) to track action items and support day-to-day operational tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business, FinTech, Information Systems, Law, or STEM) from a UK university.
- Experience: Suitable for a recent graduate; up to one year of relevant experience (e.g. an internship in a corporate, financial services, or start-up setting) is a plus but not required.
- Location & Eligibility: London-based with full, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
- Communication Skills: Fluent English with strong verbal and written business communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Confident with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and/or Google Workspace, and able to quickly pick up tools such as Slack, Notion, or Asana.
- FinTech Interest: Genuine interest in financial technology, digital payments, and the wider fintech ecosystem.
- Key Attributes: High discretion with confidential information, proactive problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and comfort working in a small, fast-paced team.
Confidentiality & Compliance
As BilinkPay operates in a regulated environment, this role involves exposure to sensitive commercial and, over time, investor and regulatory information. The successful candidate will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement, and any offer will be subject to standard reference checks.
