DRIVERS WANTED – CPJ ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Due to a significant increase in work within the utilities sector and fleet renewal programmes, CPJ Environmental Services is looking for Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers to join our growing team.
Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Shifts: Flexible – 2 to 6 shifts per week
Type: Part-time / Flexible work
The role:
- Driving Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles
- Supporting utilities and environmental projects Working as part of a reliable, friendly team
What we’re looking for:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Reliable, professional drivers
- Experience preferred but not essential

HGV class 1 and class 2 tanker drivers required, overtime available, nights out occasionally required. £16.00 per hour + bonus + night rate and weekend rate, holidays paid on a 6 week average of hours worked.

Duties
- Operate a tanker lorry to suck up waste liquids from designated locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records,
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience as a class 1 / class 2 driver is essential.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for maintaining records.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
