Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Burger Bar Manager to oversee daily operations at our busy food establishment. This role requires a passionate individual with strong leadership skills and a background in food service, particularly in burger preparation and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and supervising staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the burger bar, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food.
- Supervise and motivate team members.
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all areas of the establishment.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Assist in training new staff members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, preferably within a burger or casual dining setting.
- Supervising experience with team management skills essential for motivating staff and overseeing operations.
- Strong background knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
- Previous experience in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
- A proactive attitude towards health & safety regulations and quality assurance standards.

Pay: £24,420.00-£42,876.79 per hour
