Job Title: Production Machine Operator
Location: Brampton, Cumbria
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm, Finishing 3:30pm on Friday)
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain metal and aluminium production machinery to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of products.

Prepare and finish doors according to company specifications, including sanding, staining, painting, and applying protective coatings.

Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company and industry standards.

Follow detailed work orders and production guidelines to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on production equipment.

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and process improvements.

Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or carpentry environment, with specific experience in door finishing highly preferred.

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues.
