We are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for immediate start and to join our friendly team of engineers at our established print company in Normanton.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns across a wide range of production related equipment.
- Provide general Maintenance support
- Responsible for repairs of all equipment when required.
- Troubleshoot and fault find on a range of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Ensure compliance to all aspects of the company health and safety policy
- Follow health and safety protocols
- Working as part of a team as well as independently
Skills and Experience required:
- Multi -skilled Maintenance Engineering with electrical bias
- Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing/production environment
- HNC/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering
- 17th/18th edition qualified
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Knowledge of providing both reactive & preventative maintenance (PPM’s)
- Strong fault-finding ability across both electrical & mechanical breakdowns
- Positive attitude with ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail, Good communication, Effective time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety compliance is essential
Shift Pattern: 3 on for 3 weeks & 4 on for 1 week, with a combination of day and night shifts. 06.00am-18.00pm & 18.00pm-06.00am. 12 hour shifts (includes 1 x 30 minute paid break) This shift pattern provides a great work-life balance, with regular days off throughout the week.
Salary: £51,098 per annum
