We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout shifts.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including specials and drink ingredients, to assist guests effectively.
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
- Engage with guests to create a lively yet professional atmosphere, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.
- Assist with opening or closing duties as required, including cleaning glassware and restocking supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety certification, or restaurant service is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong knowledge of serving techniques, beverage preparation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Sound time management skills to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- A personable attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as required; availability on short notice is beneficial.
