Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Grounds Maintenance Crew Leaders to join our expanding team.

The Role
As a Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team to deliver planned grounds maintenance works across a variety of commercial sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a grounds maintenance team on a daily basis.
- Carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance duties including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, weed control and spraying (where qualified).
- Undertake seasonal planting, shrub and tree planting, mulching and general horticultural works.
- Read and interpret site plans and work schedules.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required specification and quality standards.
- Complete daily paperwork, site records and job sign-offs accurately.
- Organise daily workloads and ensure projects are completed efficiently.
- Carry out routine checks on vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- Maintain excellent communication with Contracts Managers, customers and members of the public.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has at least 3 years’ experience in commercial grounds maintenance.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail.
- Is organised, reliable and able to plan work effectively.
- Has strong communication and customer service skills.
- Can work independently whilst supporting and developing other team members.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (essential).
- Holds a CSCS Card (preferred).
- PA1 & PA6 spraying qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
