About Us
Fuimus Services Ltd is a London-based building services company delivering compliance, maintenance, servicing and installation works across residential and commercial property portfolios for leading managing agents, housing providers and institutional clients. Due to significant contract growth, we are recruiting experienced Gas Safe Registered Domestic Gas, HIU & Plumbing Engineers to join our expanding Residential Compliance Team.
The Role
Working from a planned schedule with support from our Helpdesk and Compliance Team, you will carry out gas safety inspections, servicing, reactive repairs, plumbing maintenance and HIU works across occupied residential properties throughout London.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Landlord Gas Safety Inspections (LGSR / CP12) and appliance servicing
- Boiler, gas fire and hob servicing, fault finding and repairs
- Heat Interface Unit (HIU) servicing, commissioning, fault diagnosis and remedial works
- Investigation of communal heating and hot water issues within HIU systems
- General plumbing maintenance and repairs, including:
- Taps, WCs and sanitaryware
- Ball valves and flushing mechanisms
- Leaks and pipework repairs
- Domestic hot and cold-water systems
- Shower valves and mixers
- Heating controls and zone valves
- Carrying out safety-critical repairs at first visit wherever possible
- Diagnosing heating, hot water and plumbing faults
- Completing digital certificates, service records and job sheets using company systems
- Delivering excellent customer service within occupied homes, including working with elderly and vulnerable residents
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance and compliance programmes across residential developments
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Current Gas Safe Registration
- ACS Qualifications including:
- CCN1
- CENWAT
- Proven experience in domestic gas servicing, breakdowns and landlord compliance work
- Strong domestic plumbing experience
- Confidence diagnosing heating, hot water and plumbing faults
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to use mobile devices and digital certification software
Desirable
- HIU servicing and fault-finding experience
- Experience working on SAV, Altecnic, Danfoss, Worcester Bosch, Herz or similar HIU systems
- Experience working within communal and district heating networks
- CKR1 and HTR1 qualifications
- Unvented Hot Water qualification (G3)
- Experience working for housing associations, managing agents or residential maintenance contractors

Preferred Experience
- Domestic Gas Engineer: 3+ years
- HIU Servicing & Fault Finding: 1+ year preferred
- Domestic Plumbing & Maintenance: 3+ years
- Gas Safe Registration: Required
