Job Title:
Cleaning Operative
We are looking for a cleaning operative to join our existing team member, working Monday &Friday 15:40- 17:55 & Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 15:40-18:10 (12 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the education setting.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitise washrooms
- Empty waste receptacles and replace liners
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
- Clean glass partitioning, mirrors, and surfaces
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- A DBS will need to be carried out for this position
