We are seeking a commercially focused and detail-oriented Business Analyst to help shape improvements across our processes, systems, products, and services. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional who can turn business needs into clear, practical solutions and work confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
The successful candidate will play a central role in understanding operational challenges, defining requirements, assessing opportunities, and supporting the successful delivery of change initiatives. You will work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure decisions are informed by robust analysis and that projects deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews, and data analysis.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
- Review existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, impact assessments, and options appraisals.
- Work closely with project managers, technical teams, operational leaders, and third-party suppliers to support successful project delivery.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to clarify requirements, align stakeholders, and support decision-making.
- Analyse business and performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Support system implementations, process changes, and product enhancements from discovery through testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
- Assist with user acceptance testing, ensuring delivered solutions meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including process maps, requirements specifications, change requests, and project records.
- Support the development of training materials, user guidance, and communications relating to new processes or systems.
- Monitor the benefits and outcomes of implemented changes, highlighting lessons learned and further improvement opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted link between business users and technical teams.
About You
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements for business change, software, systems, or process-improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and present clear recommendations.
- Confidence using process-mapping tools, spreadsheets, reporting systems, and business analysis techniques.
- Experience working in an agile, waterfall, or hybrid project environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders in a structured way.
- Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, process modelling, data analysis, and user acceptance testing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms would be advantageous.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in business analysis, project management, IT, or a related field is desirable.
