Fitness Instructor – Adult Social Care (Self-Employed)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate fitness professional to join our growing team and deliver engaging exercise sessions to older adults and individuals living with a range of health conditions and disabilties.

About the Role
You will deliver enjoyable, inclusive exercise sessions, including chair-based exercise, to residents in care homes and supported living services throughout Brighton and the surrounding areas.
The role offers flexible working, with sessions typically taking place between 10:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, allowing you to build work around your existing commitments where appropriate.
We are looking for someone who is:

- Motivated – passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of others.
- Confident – comfortable leading group exercise sessions and adapting your communication to meet the needs of vulnerable adults.
- Compassionate and Empathetic – able to create a welcoming, encouraging environment for people living in care.
Essential requirements for application:
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
Before delivering sessions you will also need:
- A recognised specialist fitness qualification relevant to adult social care, such as Chair Based Exercise for Adult Social Care.
- An enhanced DBS/PVG/AccessNI certificate.
- Appropriate professional insurance.
