An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Support Officer to join the North West Ambulance Service’s Programme Management Office (PMO). The role is based at Broughton House in Preston with a minimum of two days a week working in the office.
You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable, as you’ll be supporting a varied workload across a wide range of projects.
Senior Project Support Officers provide vital support to project managers; this role requires a highly organised, proactive professional who has the capability to work on a variety of projects. As a Senior Project Support Officer, you won’t only perform routine administrative duties like minute-taking rather, your responsibilities will be inextricably tied to the success of the project you are working on. Driving everything forward from planning to implementation, your actions will directly influence the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the project. This exciting role will lead you to work with a variety of key stakeholders both inside and outside of the Trust and will provide the opportunity to be part of a team that delivers fundamental change to continually improve patient care.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.
We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
